“The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.” Carl Rogers
Counselling for Adults
My aim is to provide compassionate, person-centred integrative counselling tailored to your individual needs, whether you’re an adult, a teenager, or a child.
Life can be complex, presenting challenges like career stress, relationship issues, past trauma and personal development hurdles. In our sessions, I’ll work with you to navigate these complexities, providing a space for reflection, understanding, and growth.
At the heart of my practice is a person-centred integrative approach. This means I place you at the centre of the therapeutic process, creating a safe, empathetic, and non-judgmental space for you to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences.
Integrative counselling is a flexible and comprehensive approach to therapy that combines techniques from various therapeutic disciplines to suit your unique needs. Rather than adhering strictly to one method, integrative counselling draws on different strategies and practices to provide a tailored and holistic experience. This could include using therapeutic techniques including: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Solution-based Brief Therapy (SBFT).
I have a particular interest in supporting:
- Teachers and school staff;
- Women navigating changing relationships;
- Women going through perimenopause and menopause;
- Anyone suffering from burnout and exhaustion.

Counselling for Teens
“You are imperfect, you are wired for struggle, but you are worthy of love and belonging.” Brene Brown
The teenage years are a pivotal time filled with change and development. Having worked with young people in the education system for 20 years, I understand the pressures they might be facing, whether they’re academic, social, or personal.
My counselling services for teens can address issues such as academic pressure, social dynamics, self-esteem, and a wide range of mental health concerns and are designed to help build resilience, confidence, and coping skills during these formative years.
I have experience of working with a variety of issues, most commonly self-harm, low mood, general anxieties, changing family relationships, school reluctance, low self-esteem, anger, suicidal ideation and navigating neurodivergence.
Counselling for Children
Every child is unique, with their own experiences, strengths, and challenges. With specialised training in counselling children aged 9+, I use age-appropriate techniques, to help children express themselves, understand their emotions, and develop healthy coping mechanisms. This might involve talking therapy combined with creative strategies such as sand tray exploration, Lego therapy or art therapy.
