“I am not what happened to me, I am what I choose to become.” Carl Jung
Hello, and welcome to Victoria Morgan Counselling. I am a qualified therapist dedicated to helping adults, teens and children navigate life’s challenges and achieve emotional well-being. My practice is built on a foundation of empathy, understanding, and non-judgement.
I have always been passionate about supporting others and making a positive difference in peoples’ lives. After twenty years working with young people in the education system, I qualified as a therapist with a Postgraduate Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling for Counselling Adults, Children and Young People. I witnessed on a daily basis how the poor mental health of our children in schools was not being dealt with, due to a lack of understanding, a lack of funds, time and staff and the pressures from the government. I am passionate about helping our young people, but also the educators that tirelessly support them. Teachers and support staff are often left burnout and exhausted.
I am keen to offer support to anyone, from any walk of life, who is experiencing burnout from the stresses and anxieties of modern life.
Like many people, I have benefitted from having counselling at challenging times in my life. I realised that to have someone to talk to, who was not connected to my personal life, was incredibly freeing. My own counselling helped me to gain more self-awareness which has led to greater fulfilment and inspired me to train as a therapist.
I live in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire with my husband and young children. Alongside my private practice, I work as a counsellor for TIC+ (Teens in Crisis) which provides specialist counselling for young people in schools and community venues.
